I offer individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. I work with people of all ages.
I use evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based therapy. I am also experienced with prolonged exposure therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder. I draw upon my experience with a broad range of evidence-based practices to tailor treatment to each individual client's needs, goals, and preferences.
I have experience working with a broad range of problems and disorders among children, adolescents, and adults including depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, relationship distress, personality disorders, trauma, self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, stress, and pain. I offer pre-marital counseling as well as couples therapy. In addition, I work with people seeking career exploration and counseling. As a certified yoga teacher, I sometimes integrate yoga into my psychotherapy practice.
I take a flexible, dialectical, evidence-based, and person-centered approach to psychotherapy. I balance moving towards change with validating strengths.
